THE BODYGUARD - GAME JAM

In this project, I took the role of Environmental Artist. I’ve decided that for the environment the best choice is going to be something inspired by the US White House. While I was working on that Nathan was working on the gameplay and Kaylumcreated a prototype level design which I used to measure out and base all my models. I’ve decided that the best choice for this game will be modular assets that we can just place over and over.

 

I’ve created a couple of wall modular assets so that the background won’t be too monotone. I’ve also created multiple sideways walls, as well as balconies, floor, and some smaller, additional pieces. Everything was heavily based on a marble material as that’s what I thought would represent the white house best.

 

The time I’ve spent on creating models (high and low poly for baking purposes), UV mapping, texturing, and doing smaller or bigger modifications I estimate as around 30+ hours.
